People seek peace.
They seek a place that is safe.
They try to find their way “back” to themselves when they seek peace. They try to hear their inner voice again.
But what if peace is a fallacy? What if the desire for peace is the exhaustion of a strained mind? And what good is peace if noise follows? The tension, the stress, the discord, the anger, the rage?
We are overwhelmed. But overwhelmed by ourselves.
The stress is within us, the discord is within us, the joylessness is within us. We cannot find peace.
Peace must be within us.
But how do we get there? Only by recognizing what is within us.
What is it that stresses us, annoys us, almost drives us crazy? It is nothing external. What is external exists. It exists alongside us. It can only exist alongside us. What we carry within us is what makes us seek peace. But when we are at peace, we have no peace from ourselves.
Anger is based on misunderstanding, rage on fear, sadness on isolation—if we don’t change this, we will never find what we are really looking for: no place outside ourselves that gives us peace.
We need a place inside ourselves that allows us to feel peace.
Everyone carries this place within themselves. In their soul, in their true essence: Everything has a meaning. Everything will be fine.
But only in this place can we feel the truth of these words.
Recognize what is real: everything in this world is transient.
Only the essence of our existence is not. We decide for ourselves what footprints we want to leave in this world. Come back.
But not back to the sad, angry ego.
Come back to your truth, which moves independently of it.
