In principle, yes, it is possible. But here, too, it is important to distinguish between different scenarios.
A missing person who is still alive
Yes, it is possible to connect energetically with this person to obtain information about their whereabouts. However: This person is most likely in a state of emotional and physical distress, meaning that any energetic connection is naturally marked by high stress, which often results in confusing images or emotional states. It is often nearly impossible to obtain detailed or precise information in such cases.
A missing person who died shortly after their disappearance
In this case as well, it is possible to connect with the person on an energetic level, BUT often the only thing that can be determined is whether the person is still alive or not.
In fact, souls who have experienced a sudden or even violent death are initially not available for any contact with mediums. For these souls, it is a time of transition, during which they are taken to a place where they will experience healing and processing. How long they remain in this place depends on the souls themselves and cannot be generalized.
Some souls are able to “quickly” adjust to their new “life” on the other side. Especially those who felt their body was a burden. Others take more time and are “unreachable” for months.
This happened in the case of a missing girl who was very much in the media spotlight in Germany. A nationwide search was conducted for her, which is why photos of her were everywhere. When I see a photo of a person, I can try to connect with them energetically. In this particular case, it wasn’t possible to receive anything in the initial period after her disappearance: The connection was like a pitch-black image or a monotonous beep on the other end of the phone line—she was unreachable. After exactly three months, however, her energy was suddenly there—She had passed into the light and was ready to come to terms with what had happened here.
Consequently, in these cases, it is most difficult to obtain information about the person’s whereabouts—at least in the very short term. Even people who have died under “normal” circumstances need time to come to terms with their lives.
A missing person who has been deceased for a long time
These individuals—provided they have passed into the light—are often willing to talk about themselves and their lives. Confusion, shock, (justified) anger, shame, or regret have often already been processed.
But of course, not every soul wants to discuss their passing with every person. Think of it this way: Would you talk to every person you meet on the street? About any secrets, unpleasant events, or sad occurrences from your life? Hardly.
What matters is the medium’s intention—or whether the soul can decide: Is this person trustworthy—or not? Or to put it another way: Do their energies align?
I have often heard mediums express the view that there is only good on the other side. That everything is “light and love.”
That is not true.
But those who deny the darkness cannot recognize the light within the darkness.
